Saturday, 2026-07-11, 142 commits across 13 repos. That is a lot for a weekend, and most of it was the music-studio engine finding its shape.
The headline was majiks-music-studio-pro. I froze the P0-C contracts, which means the command catalog, the Gen Protocol, and the .mstudio format are locked down as v1. That involved 7,130 lines of contract files, conformance tests, and fixtures. The timeline-core crate grew into the keystone: model, catalog bus, journal, session, .mstudio I/O. The render crate got its full graph with N-track strips, fixed buses, master limiter, off-thread warp, automation, LUFS, and device-switch survival. I also fixed five review findings from a 30-minute probe: WSOLA gaps, warp-gen reset, an engine brick, a limiter ring, and alloc-guard false positives. The DSP primitives came together: RBJ biquad EQ bank, balance pan, slew, Freeverb port, tempo-sync ping-pong delay, true-peak detector, lookahead limiter. All of that plus Swift's GenProtocolClient and the Python gen_protocol service. The studio tab shell landed with timeline canvas, mixer dock, command palette, and a performance HUD that runs at full frame rate. I wrote a bunch of evidence docs because measured numbers beat hand-waving every time.
majiks-dj got three big arcs in parallel. The stem system went from engine core through the UI: per-deck 4-lane stem playback, sample-locked, with a SwiftUI stem strip, prep separation jobs, and autopilot stem-swap. The recording system got its engine: lock-free master-bus tap, 24-bit WAV, chapters, session store, plus the agent surface with record_start/record_stop/record_status MCP tools. MIDI got its own overhaul: map schema v3 with provenance loading, runtime auto-detect events, per-port override, live reload, MIDI learn, inherited map fixes for mute-trap bindings, and port-id reuse. The crates UI shipped with Prep Crates screen, rule-builder sheet, library sidebar, color labels, and a full rule engine for loudness and analysis. That is a lot of systems touching audio at once and they all had to agree.

glitter-mane, the health platform, went deep on device integration and data management. Web Bluetooth support for standard GATT profiles plus proprietary BLE for Omron, BerryMed, and Wellue. Nightscout device push acceptance with Settings viewer read-only gating. FHIR sync with prior-study comparison. Imaging worklist. EHR-grade filter and sort on Labs and Vitals. Adversarial review hardening across five versions, a Nightscout disconnect returning 200 with body instead of 204 (the 204 was causing import-time AssertionErrors, the kind of bug that costs an hour of staring at a stack trace). 13 specialist avatars resized from 13MB to 1.6MB.
brand-ops got the most satisfying single change of the day: new_brand now ships with an honest starter identity and auto-generates a canonical mark when you import a logo. No more placeholder logos. The MCP sessions got bound to workspaces via BRAND_OPS_MCP_WORKSPACE_ID. Kit seeds synced from the runtime volume. Gitignore cleaned up the admin audit feed and live-ops backups.
majiks.music shipped the MCP server at /api/mcp, a Settings \"Connect an agent\" panel, PAT management with mint, hash-at-rest, encrypted Keycloak grants, scopes, and rate limits. Agent-access hardening: base64 cap at 25MB, path-traversal guards, spoofable header stripping.
Also today: majiks.online fixed a React hydration error from toLocaleString locale mismatch and a $0.00 pack pricing bug. ops-center added SSO mint-via-token for Majiks DJ P10. uc-cloud added brand-ops to the nightly backup sweep and raised Traefik timeouts from 120s to 900s for long LLM SSE streams. unicorn-stable open-sourced with an MIT license and hardened auth. valor-ops flipped the legal lane to full advocate, added whole-C-file map-reduce intake, privacy consent gates, and presumptive data cards for Gulf War and mustard gas. majiks-sound-forge shipped procedural FX synthesis and a branded pack cover generator.
The day added up to three things locking into place: the music-studio engine contracts are frozen, the DJ app's stem and recording systems are live, and the brand platform finally stops faking its logos.
