Unicorn Commander — models.

Friday. 161 commits across 12 repos, some of them repeated because I was squashing and re-pushing at the edge. Here's what the day actually looked like.

The headline was Majiks DJ. Sixty-two commits. I shipped the DJ Copilot agent rail and bumped it to parity with the full MCP tool surface, 33 tools becoming 76. The copilot drawer landed under Settings so a user could actually see what was happening, trust the surface, and poke back. Prep got its native UI with a Perform|Prep mode switch, a Rust job registry, and the whole bundle of fpcalc sidecar baked into the app. MIDI got its act together (SX-KC211 map, FLX4 pads, deferred action dispatch). The engine finally decodes non-48k files at the right sample rate, which was playing everything 8.8% fast. Chrome lane got a Settings window, menu bar, About, Shortcuts, boot device hooks. Themes arrived. Five palettes, no call-site churn.

It wasn't all forward motion. There was the clip engine, a whole renderer-side subsystem of 16 quantized slots, session snapshots, and a sampler panel drawer. I spent half the day chasing TOCTOU races in the clip rehydrate path, fixing staged installs in every finish_stop arm, and closing the loop on the re-review findings. The other half was EQ kill depth, tightening thresholds to the DJ-standard minus-20 dB bar and making sure the LR4 three-way split didn't click. Verify-round hardening, MIDI loop survival across device switches, a zero-warning sweep. By the time I stopped, the app was actually in a place where I wouldn't be embarrassed to hand it to someone.

I shipped the DJ Copilot agent rail and bumped it to parity with the full MCP tool surface, 33 tools becoming 76.

Glitter-Mane got its own kind of push. Twenty-five commits across the clinician shell. Labs view, snapshot review, self-charting, dated alerts. A full re-analysis pipeline with EMR vitals-by-date. Mammoscreen and MedSAM microservices went in, along with a segment-and-measure tool. STT stopped returning 502 because I finally transcode webm/opus to WAV before the Parakeet gateway. SSO-only mode hid the password auth entirely. Extraction output budget jumped to eight thousand and the JSON salvage caught what used to truncate. A lot of the work was plumbing, but it was the plumbing that makes the clinician shell feel real.

Valor-Ops was Rating Raider, hardening the backend contracts, the evidence auto-link, the proactive evidence engine, the deadline guardian, the world-class chat UI, and the native Guided Workflows hub with fifteen researched veteran flows. Identity pre-fill across six forms. The agent persona got renamed from Sarge to Rating Raider (CWO), because the old name was confusing. A lot of small wins, each one making the thing less likely to hand a veteran a broken form.

The quiet wins: Sound Forge got its ingest client, parallel temp-file race fix, and loop previews that crossfade so they actually sound like loops. Ops-Center got the hardcoded OpenRouter key scrubbed from every doc and prefilled form. Security-ops and wealth-ops got their rackboy1 production cuts with HSTS and http-to-https redirects on the edge routes. Qdrant got segmented onto the private unicorn-vectordb network. Majiks.online hid the generative model names from listener surfaces and wired PostHog properly. Unicorn-stable got client-side multi-server federation with a server rail.

Also today: bumping versions, regenerating Swift bindings, fixing build breaks from lucide icon renames, pinning transformers below version five because of an albucore C-extension dependency dance. Dependency hell is real, but the fixes are just fixes.

Four ships, one long day, and by the end of it everything that needed to land actually landed.
