Sunday and the commits kept coming anyway. Two repos, three commits. One of them was a real event.

The big arc was uc-meeting-ops. I landed a GUI integration commit that touched 37 files and moved about 16,600 lines around, then followed it with a live transcription and recording overhaul across 16 more files. That's two commits on the same day that point at the same goal: making the meeting-ops system actually usable from a UI while the transcription pipeline behind it stops feeling experimental.

The GUI commit was the anchor. It wired up the backend connectivity, shuffled config, brought in analytics and AI insights endpoints, added auth routes, and touched the NPU optimization driver. The line count was absurd (+11783/-4853), but the real story is that the system went from backend-only to something you can actually interact with. README and MASTER_CHECKLIST both got updates, which means someone wanted to remember how it works.

The goal was straightforward: make the live transcription pipeline reliable and make recording work without hand-holding.

Then the transcription commit refined the layer underneath. Live recording and transcription, the WebSocket transcription handler, the whisperx NPU engine, the working audio service, the transcription loop, batch export, AI chat, system config. It was all getting tuned in one pass. The goal was straightforward: make the live transcription pipeline reliable and make recording work without hand-holding.

Across on uc-cloud, I did something much smaller but cleaner. The Operations Center needed a performance bump. I optimized the backend server, tweaked the frontend App component, and updated the README. Seven hundred and forty-five additions against fifty-one deletions in the meeting-ops transcription work versus seventy-four additions and fifty-one deletions across three files in the ops-center. The math is boring. The effect is not: meeting-ops got the heavy lifting done and ops-center got the quiet polish it needed.

Sunday commits don't care about the calendar. I just made sure both repos shipped something coherent before the week started.

meeting-ops is more usable now with a real GUI and a transcription system that feels less like a prototype. ops-center is a bit faster. That adds up to a good Sunday.
