Monday, 2025-08-04 started with the realization that our frontend was a single dashboard trying to serve everyone, and that was no longer working. I decided to stop pretending it was a good idea and rolled out a role-based system. It meant writing a role guard, a navigation component, and four distinct dashboard variants for superuser, manager, organization admin, viewer, and standard user. It felt like the obvious thing to do, even if it meant touching eleven files across the frontend and backend. I also bumped the default model on the NPU side so it stops guessing, and updated the documentation to match reality. The old PROJECT_STATUS and CLAUDE files were stale fiction, and I corrected them. The day ended with a massive cleanup of the USB audio path and llama.cpp integration. The line count went negative, which is the best kind of refactoring.

Tuesday, 2025-08-05 was about meeting management. I pushed a feature set that gave the app an actual way to manage meetings end to end. That meant session endpoints on the backend and a dedicated MeetingManagement page on the frontend, along with RecordingPage, TranscriptEditor, and SummarizationTemplates. Before that could land cleanly, I had to fix compilation errors that blocked the whole build. I rewrote the WebSocket hook and updated the admin reset script, the gitignore, and every dashboard component. It was a cycle of build break, fix, build again. The net result was about 2662 lines added and 1044 removed. The meeting management surface is now there, and the compilation errors are gone.

Wednesday, 2025-08-06 saw me push two separate systems to completion. In uc-meeting-ops, I landed the always-on transcription feature. It was a 26-file sweep that records audio continuously, transcribes in the background, and flags moments worth keeping. I also wired in audio optimization so the recordings come out clean. In center-deep-pro, I built out a complete Blog Management and Newsletter system in one shot. It covers content agents, scheduling, scraping, blog routes, and a newsletter sender. It is a self-contained subsystem that can draft and distribute content without me babysitting it. The feature checklist for meeting-ops hit 95%, and the code finally matched it.

I pushed a feature set that gave the app an actual way to manage meetings end to end.

Thursday, 2025-08-07 brought a complete restructure of the dashboard and the underlying service management layer. I pushed 12,162 lines of new code and cleaned up 1,963 lines of old. I added the Deep Center views, driver installation scripts for NVIDIA hardware, and system verification checks. The admin can now actually see what is happening in the machine. I also upgraded the embeddings and reranker services to use better models. It was a quiet change, but the search results should be sharper. I finished the unified recording interface to use the NPU for transcription. The system can now record a meeting, process the audio, and spit out text without needing a full CPU load. On the creative side, I added shooting stars to the ad design site and hooked up real event tracking. It is nice to polish the public face while the backend gets deep.

Friday, 2025-08-08 started with a time-shift recording feature that ended up being the whole story. It was a structural change that touched 54 files. I built out npu_main.py and npu_config.json alongside the existing recording routes. The NPU side handles the heavy lifting, and the config lets it tune itself. HTTPS support came in at the same time, so the recording endpoints are secure end to end. I spent a solid stretch overnight getting this right, then consolidated the transcriber pieces and wrote it up. The feature ships clean: time-shift recording works, it uses the NPU when available, and it talks over HTTPS.

Saturday, 2025-08-09 was about consolidation. I completed the frontend integration and NPU optimization in meeting-ops. The frontend components like the NPU status indicator and the waveform visualizer now reflect the actual hardware state. I also added the Ollama extension to uc-cloud, bringing local LLM capabilities into the Operations Center. This involved a whole new directory structure, updating the AI model manager, and fixing Docker issues. The OpenAPI specification in meeting-ops got a major update to synchronize with the current API state. I also fixed the system metrics API endpoint configuration, which had been nagging at me. The NPU is performing, the LLMs are accessible, and the system is stable.

Sunday, 2025-08-10 commits don’t care about the calendar. I landed a GUI integration commit that moved about 16,600 lines around in uc-meeting-ops. It wired up backend connectivity, config, analytics, and auth routes. The system went from backend-only to something you can actually interact with. I followed that with a live transcription and recording overhaul that refined the whisperx NPU engine and the working audio service. In uc-cloud, I optimized the backend server and tweaked the frontend App component for a performance bump. The math is boring, but the effect is clear.

This week had movement. We started with a broken dashboard and ended with a usable GUI and a transcription system that feels less like a prototype. The NPU is working, the blogs are automated, and the docs actually match the code. It was a lot of lines, but they all pointed in the same direction. The week is done, and the build holds up.
