Majiks DJ — stats.

Monday started with the kind of momentum that makes you think you can tackle everything in one go. Instead, it was a day of triage. The headline wasn't a shiny new feature but rather tightening the loose ends on the broadcaster and getting the live stream detection to actually work in Safari. The biggest win came from fixing audio quality with stride-aware buffer handling across eleven files. At the same time, I wrestled with the live stream status on majiks.online. I tried a fetch-based approach, then an Audio element probe, before finally settling on a simple HEAD fetch. It’s boring, but it works across all browsers. The radio page now shows the live card correctly, and the chat stayed alive after I fixed a crash when OpenAI formatted tools. It wasn't groundbreaking, but the audio is better and the stream card is visible. That is a good Monday.

Tuesday was different. One commit today, but it changed how the whole system works. I wired up agent federation in unicorn-brigade. Edge agents can now route to each other, there is a federation registry, and remote delegation is live. The work landed across four files, adding two hundred seventy-three lines. This is the plumbing that lets agents talk to each other across boundaries instead of running in silos. The registry keeps track of who is available, and remote delegation means one agent can hand off work to another without knowing every detail about the other's setup. It is three capabilities, four files, one shot.

Wednesday was whack-a-mole. I spent the day playing with the stability issues that surfaced during the dual code audit. The audit flagged ten critical or high-priority items, and I had to track down every single one. The biggest headache was a stubborn bug involving stale Python bytecode. I kept hitting walls where old .pyc files were sticking around because the build script was only clearing the source directory. I had to dig into build-release.sh to ensure that both source and destination caches were nuked. It was a simple fix, but it caused enough confusion that I almost gave up on the build pipeline entirely. Then came the crash in the generation engine. The model was choking on an unsupported parameter called lm_repetition_penalty. Removing it stabilized the process. I also polished the user interface for error handling, adding a proper error popover with a copy button. I shipped v3.0.8 with all ten issues resolved. It was gritty work, but the code is better for it.

The work landed across four files, adding two hundred seventy-three lines.

Thursday was about tightening the bolts. The headache started with the ACE Music Cloud bridge in Music Studio. We had a mess of static tokens floating around, so I spent the morning migrating that over to Keycloak access tokens across nine files. Just as I thought I was done, I hit the reality of public APIs. The ACE Music Cloud public endpoint only supports /v1/chat/completions. The old code was reaching for something else, so I had to patch that immediately. It is a small fix, but it means the bridge actually works now. On the infrastructure side, the uc-cloud repo got a massive injection of muscle. I spun up dual-GPU infrastructure with an RTX 3090 and an RTX 6000. This is about having the right engines for the job. I also pushed v1.4.0 of the Songwriter Agent with a 3D knowledge graph visualization. The brand kit finally got its due with official logo wordmarks in light and dark variants. We are not just patching holes anymore. We are laying down the real foundation.

Friday was the day the infrastructure clicked. Thirty-four commits across ten repos. The headline is the GPU agent authentication. We spent the morning untangling a knot of registration failures that had been keeping our compute nodes offline. The fix was buried in a type comparison error and a Docker hostname routing issue. Once I got the shared secret logic right in the GPU agent and wired the RBAC checks into the compute API, the nodes stopped flapping. The mobile momentum was just as heavy. Majiks Player hit v1.0.0 with the full native iOS and Android stack. We also got Apple Music integration into the mix. Majiks Music Mobile got a critical fix for the public ACE Music Cloud generation, switching to the completions API. Majiks Art Studio v1.6.0 brought negative prompts and aspect ratios that actually work. The test suite grew by 129 tests. It feels like a real application now, not just a demo.

Saturday was the birth of Majiks DSP. I spun up the entire macOS application from scratch, creating a system-wide audio engine. It is two thousand seven hundred eighty-nine lines of new code across 28 files. This is the kind of low-level work that usually takes weeks, but today it just clicked into place. While the new engine was taking shape, I upgraded the ACE-Step backend to version 0.1.6 to support the new 4B DiT XL model series. I also tore down the web presence, stripping it back from 20 plus SaaS pages to 6 focused open source project pages. The DSP is alive, the studio is updated, and the web finally looks like us.

Sunday was a quiet day with a coherent arc. I was trying to nail down what the product is versus what it sounds like. On unicorncommander.com, the site got a serious makeover. The biggest win was replacing the generic 3-layer diagram with an actual mesh topology visual. Someone had also done the heavy lifting adding 3D architecture visuals and logos across every page. magicunicorn.tech got its first /apps page, which ties Email Cleaner and Meeting Minutes into a single landing. The version endpoint is live too. It was a simple Sunday, but it added up to a site that tells the real story and apps that actually link to it.

This week was about making the invisible work visible. We moved from patching holes to building foundations. The audio is better, the agents are federated, and the infrastructure is stable. It is a relief to push that update. The code is better for it, and I am better for having fixed it.
