Friday hit me with a wall of 182 commits across 9 repos, which is the kind of number that makes you question your life choices until you realize it was mostly the end-of-sprint consolidation paying off. Let me tell you what actually happened.
The biggest arc this week was brand-ops hardening, and I finished the whole Tier 1 cost governance + rate limiting + AUTH fail-secure default stack on Friday morning. Nine files changed in one commit, another nine hundred lines on cost governance alone, per-tenant image cost limits, rate limiting with real enforcement, and the AUTH system flipping to fail-secure by default. I'd been working through the tiers all week: Tier 2 brought admin tenant lifecycle, audit-log hardening, and observability; Tier 3 added upload and SSRF protection. The backup and restore scripts went in too, because a hardening pass without a restore path is just anxiety with extra steps. Version bumped to 0.13.0.
Meanwhile, center-deep-research got the v6 redesign treatment. This was the real visual overhaul, a complete knowledge-store command-center home with rising bubbles, a hero section, unified command bar, and a flux band. The store cards were ported faithfully from the mockups with proper design system typography and card anatomy. I built out the findings column, the evidence column, a proper store-panel header, and a coherent primary run that shows verdict, brief, drift, and findings from a single assessed run instead of scattered sources. Desktop sidebar collapse with a discoverable resize grip, the Deep Ocean palette flipped to true aqua/abyssal, and the findings bug on flat reports got fixed. The preview stack was rehomed to research-preview.magicunicorn.dev and an isolated branch-preview stack landed on research-preview.unicorncommander.ai. Design mockups from v1 through v6 all locked in, plus three identity-direction mockups (Instrument, Ink & Paper, Luminous Dark) that I won't be using but kept around as reference.

Customer-ops got a massive facelift of its own. The Relations Officer conversational orchestrator shipped, an advisor plus operator with confirm-gated actions. The agent lane went selectable between Claude and Qwen, and two new agents joined the fleet along with brigade-sts for Accounting-Ops and Email-Ops integration. The FalkorDB knowledge-graph layer replaced the fabricated drill-down, which was honestly embarrassing that it was fabricated in the first place. Project-Ops delivery got federated into the customer-360 view, health probes added for the integration suite, and the auth got fixed to treat 401s as session expiry instead of \"backend unreachable\" which was a genuinely confusing error message. The unicorns-shaking-hands logo replaced the abstract constellation mark, and the whole app got a suite-style brand identity. Help center, onboarding tour, settings integrations page, the works.
Meeting-ops was the quiet workhorse. STT/TTS routed through the OpenAI gateway with native fallback, the readiness probes authenticated properly, and the big production-readiness hardening from the Waves rolled through: security headers, WebSocket auth, session cleanup, data retention with explicit per-room opt-in, performance fixes including session list pagination and an interactive Arq worker lane, Sentry tracking, and map-reduce summarization for long meetings. The iOS app got Vera a voice, cross-thread memory, on-device push-to-talk, App Shortcuts for Siri, SSO wired to the live native client, and dual avatars, field art for Cpl, dress for LtCol. Version bumped to 1.0 build 4 for TestFlight.
The billing work in ops-center continued the local-pricing foundation, the three-mode scaffolding, the gateway pricing hook, the unified Stripe webhook dispatcher, CSRF exemptions for the signature-verified paths. Project-ops got an agent activity ledger with a frontend dashboard to actually see it. Listing-ops fixed the eBay taxonomy fallback and killed the N+1 serialization. Email-ops accepted the cross-app federation actors.
Also today: I probably wrote more CHANGELOG entries than production code.
182 commits, 9 repos, zero existential questions answered, but everything that needed to ship this week shipped anyway.
