Majiks Studio — library.

The headline for today was majiks-dsp. I spent the bulk of the day pushing v0.0.4, which was a massive commit hitting 996 additions and 175 deletions across 18 files. The goal was to get the DSP engine to behave exactly as the specs demanded. I added polarity inversion, which sounds simple until you realize it needs to be baked into the core signal chain without breaking the output bus. I also nailed down an exact EQ response curve and a pro-Q scrub feature that finally makes the parametric editor useful for serious work. It was a polish pass, but a heavy one.

Before that landed, I had to wrestle with the sample rate converter. v0.0.3 was mostly an audit-driven fix pass, cleaning up 556 lines of code across 24 files. The SRC was stuttering on certain edge cases, so I rewrote the routing logic to ensure the audio stayed solid when the OS decided to change the sample rate mid-session. I also wired the SpectrumAnalyzer and LoudnessMeter directly into the GUI. Seeing the real-time data flow through the UI for the first time was the kind of moment that makes the debugging worth it. The compact spectrum view in the menu bar is now sitting right above the bus list, keeping the interface clean.

Then came the majiks-art-studio day. I shipped v1.6.1, labeled as a critical security and integrity hotfix. It was a 427-line change across 11 files, mostly in the gallery store and backend views. The issue was path traversal vulnerabilities that let users peek at files they shouldn't see. I locked down the gallery repair logic and added strict validation to the settings view. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps the platform honest. I also added 67 tests covering the artist agent, gallery repair, and remote backend. The test suite grew by 1,393 lines today, which is a good sign that the codebase is finally stabilizing.

Before that landed, I had to wrestle with the sample rate converter.

On the web side, I launched the Meeting Minutes product page for magicunicorn.tech. It was a visual job, adding 721 lines of new content including screenshots, logos, and a full product walkthrough. It’s the first time the site has a dedicated landing for that tool, and it looks sharp. I also pushed some branding updates to majiks.online, swapping out wordmarks and updating the press page to reflect the new Pro Suite messaging. majiks.studio got a minor fix to reflect the local and cloud options correctly, keeping the narrative consistent across the ecosystem.

Also today: songwriter-agent got v1.4.1, fixing a JS injection bug in the graph visualization and cleaning up the chat handoff. I added an install script and man page for the DSP CLI, because if I’m going to ask people to use the command line, I should give them proper documentation.

The day added up to a lot of moving parts, but the core engine is finally tight. The DSP is loud, the art studio is secure, and the web presence is finally matching the product quality.
