Unicorn Commander — monitoring.

The headline today was the birth of Majiks DSP. I spun up the entire macOS application from scratch, creating a system-wide audio engine that captures and processes audio across the system. It is 2,789 lines of new code across 28 files, establishing the foundational architecture for the DSP module. This is the kind of low-level work that usually takes weeks, but today it just clicked into place.

While the new engine was taking shape, I had to keep the existing music studio from falling apart. I upgraded the ACE-Step backend to version 0.1.6 and added support for the new 4B DiT XL model series. That update touched 11 files, ensuring the studio can actually use the latest generation models without breaking the pipeline. I also spent time on the mobile side, fixing the "Send to Studio" flow so it reliably extracts style prompts from chat messages, and clearing up the App Store validation issues that were blocking the release.

The web presence got a serious cleanup. I tore down the site, stripping it back from 20+ SaaS pages to 6 focused open source project pages I did the same for adding build prompts for Cognitive Companion and Genesis Flow Labs sites, and fixing caching issues and add lightbox to founder gallery

While the new engine was taking shape, I had to keep the existing music studio from falling apart.

I also pushed the meeting-minutes app to v1.0.0: Release prep, AVFoundation audio, ffmpeg optional, release pipeline

There were smaller wins scattered around. I added the Majiks logo to the ecosystem grid, fixed broken portfolio images with placeholders, and added real press kit logos to majiks.studio and majiks.online. I even got the continuous radio playback + play station buttons + default playlists, so you can just hit play and let it run.

Also today: I fixed the contact page on the main tech site, updated the ecosystem footer across across 10 repos, and added a buildout prompt for the player app so the next session starts faster.

It was a day of building foundations and knocking down walls. The DSP is alive, the studio is updated, and the web finally looks like us.
