Ops-Center — settings.

Thursday, October 30, 2025. The day started with the usual tension between feature work and the plumbing that holds it all together. I spent the bulk of the time in ops-center, chasing down a cascade of integration issues that had accumulated while I was focused on other things. It was not a pretty sight. The credential system was reading from static files when it should have been pulling from the database, and the routing logic was essentially guessing at what the backend expected.

I fixed the universal credential system so it actually reads Platform Settings from the database. That alone touched ten backend files, mostly around Stripe, LiteLLM, and Cloudflare integrations. Once that was sorted, I moved to critical routing fixes. The server was crashing on specific paths, and the Traefik dashboard was returning 403 errors that made it look like the service was down when it was just confused about its own permissions. I resolved the TypeError crashes in the Cloudflare and Services pages, which were failing because they were trying to iterate over objects that weren't arrays. It is a small thing, but it stops the whole interface from turning white.

I also added comprehensive advanced filters to the Model Catalog. It was a single file change, but it adds 970 lines of logic to let users actually find what they are looking for without scrolling through an endless list of models. The Analytics section got a submenu and the Hardware page stopped crashing when you tried to view GPU stats. The UI issues are gone. The system feels solid again.

I fixed the universal credential system so it actually reads Platform Settings from the database.

While ops-center was settling down, I spun up Unicorn-Orator. I extracted it from UC-Cloud to give it its own identity and multi-platform support. It now has its own API, runtime detector, and kernel structure for XDNA2. It is a clean break from the monolith and makes it easier to maintain without worrying about side effects in the main cloud service. I also added the XDNA2 kernel symlinks and runtime structure, which sets the stage for better performance on newer hardware.

PocketSteward got the final touches for Phase 1. I wired up the JWT authentication and RBAC system, which was a big lift across 38 files. The agent system is now initialized at startup, and the testing infrastructure is comprehensive. It is ready for real use.

UC-Cloud just followed the updates, pulling in the new ops-center assets and fixes. It is a small chore, but it keeps the whole stack in sync.
