Unicorn Commander — services.

Friday the 31st, and the day broke into two distinct halves. The morning was about cleanup and consolidation. The afternoon was about the kind of low-level hardware bug that makes you question reality.

Ops Center got the biggest win with a critical bug fix sweep across 549 files. The Features API and a BillingDashboard TypeError were the culprits, and the fix landed with about 14,500 lines changed. That's a massive rework of the vendor bundles and backend. Paired with the dynamic service cards pull (267 lines added from landing_config.json), the dashboard is shaping up nicely. I updated the ops-center submodule in uc-cloud twice today to pull in those fixes, plus another update for NPU and Intel iGPU enhancements. It's a bit of a chore watching submodule pointers dance across repos, but the dependency chain is clean now.

Speaking of cleanup, center-deep-pro got a full keycloak theme pass. The login page now has a real logo and custom CSS, the Docker setup got reworked for submodule integration, and the deployment guide actually says something useful. That's 1,928 lines added, mostly to the keycloak theme directory and Docker configuration. The visual polish matters more than I usually give it credit for when you're the one logging in at 2 AM to debug something.

I updated the ops-center submodule in uc-cloud twice today to pull in those fixes, plus another update for NPU and Intel iGPU enhancements.

But the real story of the day lives in unicorn-orator. The AMD XDNA2 NPU work landed a BF16 signed value workaround across 13 files. The model pipeline was hitting a sign bug with how BF16 values were being handled, and the fix required changes scattered across the server, tests, utilities, and all the documentation. I wrote up the API reference, deployment guide, implementation notes, integration summary, and a fresh README. The test suite got a full rewrite too. It's 3,978 lines of new code and tests for what amounts to a hardware quirk, but the workaround holds and the NPU path is solid now.

The Kokoro TTS sign bug got its own protection layer in the xdna1 server. Version 1.1.0 shipped with the fix plus a dedicated analysis doc and test. Two different NPU stacks, two sign bugs, same category of headache.

uc-cloud itself was quiet outside the submodule updates and a migration cleanup that renamed Center-Deep-Pro references across six files. Traefik got some SSL configuration tweaks for ops-center routing, nothing flashy, just keeping the plumbing from leaking.

Also today: the ops-center vendor bundles got recompiled with the bug fixes, and I bumped submodule pointers around enough times that I stopped counting.

Five repos touched, eleven commits, and the day ended with three things that actually needed fixing and three things that got fixed. Not bad for a Friday.
