Tuesday, August 12. I put in 18 commits across two repos. The bigger story is meeting-ops; the uc-cloud stuff was housekeeping.
Meeting-ops was a wild day. I started by overhauling the frontend with a massive 6,605-line rewrite across 29 files, then followed up with 10,565 more lines of UI/UX improvements touching 46 files. That's not two separate things, really, it was one giant frontend rework. New AppRouter, a bunch of new components, the works. The dashboard, meeting intelligence, live transcription, agent configuration, email templates, and recording all got the treatment.
Then reality hit, because it always does. Transcription was broken. The live AI display wasn't working. WebSocket endpoints were lying. Duplicate transcriptions were showing up. I spent a chunk of the afternoon going fix after fix after fix:
I started by overhauling the frontend with a massive 6,605-line rewrite across 29 files, then followed up with 10,565 more lines of UI/UX improvements touching 46 files.
f62d68b69 to resolve live AI and transcription display issues across 8 files. 03ec91a19 for WebSocket and API endpoint fixes. cfd727d5a to fix meeting minutes and summarization display. d24ffda3f to use global transcriptions in the recording interface. a9e6b688f to kill duplicate transcription display. f43605b9e for more live transcription fixes. 30414bbdb to fix an audio service import reference. 9eeed4aeb to fix backend API issues with 148 new lines across 3 files.
That's eight fix commits. The transcription display was fighting me all day.
I also cleaned up the installation side of things. Added install-ubuntu-25.04.sh, manage-models.sh, and verify-installation.sh as new scripts. Updated README_INSTALL.md with 859 lines of documentation. Fixed PyTorch compatibility for Python 3.13. Improved the install script for fresh systems. Created manage-models.sh to handle model management.
The READMEs got updated too, with new screenshots and documentation. The master development checklist in CLAUDE.md got a comprehensive update.
uc-cloud was quieter. Updated the README with realistic 85% development status. Enhanced the UC-1 Pro documentation with an enterprise authentication roadmap, added AI model management files, and updated the development checklist. 974 lines added to AI model management alone.
By the end of the day, meeting-ops had a complete frontend overhaul, a working transcription pipeline (mostly), real AI integration, and enough installation documentation that someone might actually be able to set this up. The transcription bugs taught me that WebSocket state is harder than it looks.
The day was about making meeting-ops something people could actually install and use, then spending the afternoon convincing the UI to not lie about transcriptions.
