Meeting-Ops — session summary with speakers and action items.

It was a quiet Sunday, just four commits across two repos, but the heavy lifting got done. I spent the day bridging the gap between theoretical acceleration and actual hardware, and finally got the audio pipeline to stop fighting me.

In center-deep-pro, I needed to give the tool servers some brains. I added embedding and reranker support. That sounds like a lot of abstract computer science, but it really just meant wiring up the models so the agents could actually understand context. I touched six files, including the main app logic and the admin templates. It is a solid 893 lines of new code, mostly glue and configuration. Now when a tool server asks a question, it gets a better answer. That is the point.

The real story, though, was in uc-meeting-ops. I had been wrestling with the NPU hardware acceleration for a while. The theory was simple: use the Neural Processing Unit to offload some of the heavy lifting. The practice was... less simple. I spent the day finalizing the implementation. It was a massive shift, touching 36 files. I added over 4,400 lines of code and cleaned up about 2,000. It involved setting up Docker, configuring services, and writing a whole new set of documentation to explain how to actually get the thing running.

In `center-deep-pro`, I needed to give the tool servers some brains.

I wrote NPU_IMPLEMENTATION_COMPLETE.md, NPU_SETUP_GUIDE.md, and a bunch of other docs because if I do not write it down, I will forget how to start the stack next week. I also updated the install scripts. It is done now. The hardware acceleration is live. It feels good to have that problem solved.

But I could not just sit on my hands. The audio pipeline was still a mess. I had been trying to get USB audio working reliably, and it kept dropping out or showing wrong levels. I spent the afternoon untangling that knot. I added USB audio support and updated the documentation. That was another 1,200 lines of changes across nine files. I rewrote the backend audio monitors to talk directly to the USB device. I updated the frontend meter to show the correct levels. It is finally working. No more guessing if the microphone is plugged in.

I also updated the CLAUDE.md and PROJECT_STATUS.md files to reflect what I had done. It is easy to lose track of progress when you are deep in the code. Writing it down helps me see the shape of the week.

It was a thin day in terms of volume, but thick in terms of completion. I started with two half-baked ideas and ended with two shipped features. The NPU is running. The audio is listening. The tool servers are smarter. That is enough for a Sunday.
