Friday, August 7, 2026. Four commits in ops-center. The day started with the bill.

I needed to stop guessing how much each model cost and start tracking it accurately. The existing system was too loose for the level of transparency we promised. I rewrote the cost function to be per-model, pulling input and output prices directly from the provider specs. It is a bit of math, but necessary math. I changed 565 lines and removed 103. The new audit test in test_cost_function_audit.py verifies that the numbers add up. If the bill is wrong, the tests fail. That is a good problem to have.

The credits system is no longer a black box. It is a ledger.

I needed to stop guessing how much each model cost and start tracking it accurately.

Then I turned to the Marketplace. The old tiles were generic and cluttered. I wanted clarity. I replaced the placeholder icons with real brand logos and made them bigger. More importantly, I filtered the list. Only products you can actually get are showing up now. I deleted 95 lines of dead weight and added 18 lines of clean structure. The UI is lighter, sharper, and honest about what is available. It is not a catalog of dreams; it is a catalog of tools.

But the real work, the thing that keeps the lights on, was in the provider keys.

I realized that llm_providers was just a list of names. It needed to be the platform key store. I refactored litellm_api.py and provider_keys_api.py to treat providers as the anchor for credential storage. I updated the frontend components in ProviderKeysSection.jsx and APIProviders.jsx to reflect this shift. It is a structural change. It means keys are no longer floating in the void; they are attached to the provider identity. This makes rotation and auditing straightforward. I added 230 lines of logic and removed 64 lines of ambiguity.

The final commit was the cleanup. I committed the live deployed state. This includes the UC key MCP scopes, the /v1 alias, and the MCP metering configuration. I touched thirteen files, including authentication middleware, CSRF protection, and the trial codes API. It is a snapshot of where the server stands right now. No more drift. The configuration matches the code.

Also today: I cleaned up the logos in public/logos/, updated the landing config, and made sure the Docker compose file reflects the current runtime needs.

It was a day of tightening bolts. The credits are accurate. The marketplace is honest. The keys are stored correctly. The state is committed. Nothing exploded. The bill is clear. That is enough for a Friday.
