Ops-Center — admin command dashboard.

Saturday arrived and I spent it wrestling two very different kinds of friction. One was stubborn, low-level hardware acceleration in the speech pipeline. The other was a subtle navigation bug that had been sending users into Keycloak limbo. Both are resolved. The day started with the heavy lifting in unicorn-amanuensis, where I finally closed the loop on the dual-path NPU acceleration strategy.

This was not a small tweak. The commit history shows a massive injection of code, with 71,560 lines added and 733 removed across 456 files. That number looks scary, but it is mostly documentation and kernel analysis reports that were finally committed to the repo. The real logic lives in whisperx/npu, where I implemented the final status checks and tests for the NPU integration. I also cleaned up the repo by removing obsolete documentation and scripts that were cluttering the root. This cleanup deleted 84 lines of dead weight across four files, including some theme images and an install script that was no longer relevant. The dual-path approach is now complete, tested, and documented. It is ready to handle the heavy lifting for speech processing without choking the main thread.

While that was compiling and testing, I had to fix a redirect bug in ops-center that was causing SSO flows to break. The issue was in how the application handled the return trip from Keycloak. The previous implementation was not playing nice with browser navigation, so I switched to using window.location directly. This change touched three files: App.jsx, RootRedirect.jsx, and MarketplaceLanding.jsx. It added 173 lines and removed 73, mostly to ensure the redirect happens at the browser level rather than relying on React router quirks that were failing in production. Once the fix was in, I updated the ops-center submodule in uc-cloud twice to pull in those changes. The submodule updates were small, just a few lines changed in the reference pointers, but they were critical to keeping the cloud environment in sync with the latest security fix.

That number looks scary, but it is mostly documentation and kernel analysis reports that were finally committed to the repo.

There was also a small fix in bolt-diy-fork for the Unicorn Commander provider. I updated it to show only curated models, which cleaned up the UI and prevented users from seeing models that were not ready for prime time. This was a quick thirty-line change in the provider configuration file, but it matters for the user experience. It stops the noise.

So the day added up to a cleaner speech pipeline and a more reliable login flow. The NPU acceleration is now in the code, the SSO redirect is fixed, and the repo is a little less cluttered. It is a good Friday.
