Saturday, three commits. Two in ops-center and one in magicode. The thread connecting them was bolted on late: a template proxy endpoint, a big model access API fix, and the initial README for magicode.

The Model Access API took the hit. I pushed 1067 lines in and 10 out across model_access_api.py and server.py. The goal was straightforward: get the LLM integration for Bolt.DIY working without leaking credentials or hitting dead ends on every request. The old path was brittle. The new one handles the roundtrip cleanly, and the server routes it right. The diff tells the story.

Also today I stood up a GitHub template proxy endpoint for Bolt.DIY in server.py. Ninety-two lines, one file. It sits behind the same routing so external callers can fetch templates without wrestling with GitHub's raw endpoints directly. Simple, necessary, done.

I pushed 1067 lines in and 10 out across model_access_api.

The magicode commit was smaller in scope but bigger in intent. The initial commit was just a README, but it marked the first real artifact for that repo. It felt like planting a flag. The code is coming. For now the README lays out what magicode is supposed to do so the next pass has something to build against.

If I had to name the real headline, it was the model access rework. The proxy and the README were supporting work around it. Getting the LLM integration solid matters more than anything else I touched this weekend because it unblocks the Bolt.DIY flow end to end. Before this, the path from a request through the model provider to a usable response was a series of fragile assumptions. After this, the code handles auth, routing, and fallback without the old failure modes.

The number of lines added is a decent proxy for effort here. 1067 in one shot is not something you do lightly. It needed to land right the first time because every other repo depends on model access behaving. The proxy endpoint was the easy part. The README was a quick write. The API was the thing that demanded attention.

Nothing exploded. No rewrites after the fact. That is a rare thing for a Saturday and worth noting.

The day added up to: solidify the backbone, stand up the tools around it, and leave a place for the next phase to grow.
