Thursday, August 14, 2025. 3 commits across uc-meeting-ops. That's the shape of the day.
The headline is the unified agent system. I committed the live progressive summarization work and bundled it together in a single change that touched 33 files with +5537 lines. This wasn't a small tweak. The commit message says "complete" and the numbers back that up. I built out the advanced agents API, the advanced AI providers, the websocket auto-summary module, and a bunch of supporting pieces. There's a new unified agent API that ties it all together.
But the day didn't start with that. It started with fixing live transcription and adding an AI insights endpoint. That was the bigger commit by sheer volume, at +6471/-195 across 66 files. I got transcription working, wired up the insights endpoint, and also tackled Authentik integration for local accounts and frontend auth. The documentation files tell part of the story: INSIGHTS_ENDPOINT_FIX.md, AUTHENTIK-LOCAL-ACCOUNTS.md, FRONTEND-AUTHENTIK-UPDATE-SUMMARY.md. The work was real, the files prove it.

After those two big pushes, I spent time on documentation. I updated the README, QUICK-START guide, CLAUDE file, and wrote up the JWT authentication integration details. 6 files, +1379/-44. Most of that was explaining what I'd just built so it's not just in my head.
The pattern is familiar. Build something, build something bigger, write about what you did.
Also today: the usual behind-the-scenes stuff. Configuration files updated. Supporting modules adjusted. The glue code that makes the pieces talk to each other.
What it added up to: a meeting system that can listen, transcribe, summarize, and generate insights while keeping authentication sane. Progress, not perfection.
