Friday, January 10th. Two commits on superiorbsolutions.com. Not a marathon day, but it was the one that mattered.
I spent the day getting the site live. Initial commit was the deploy script, then the real work: Dockerfile, docker-compose.yml, .dockerignore, the .env file, the build config, and the two pages that actually matter right now, the footer and the contact page. README and lockfile along for the ride. 5 lines added, 1 trimmed (deploy.sh), then 387 lines added, 198 trimmed (10 files). The kind of commit where you strip the fat and keep only what ships.
It was the first deploy. There is something quietly satisfying about that, even when it is mostly plumbing. The Dockerfile, the compose file, the deploy script. It all clicked on the first try, which is never guaranteed. I am not going to pretend it was easy every time, but this round was clean.
Initial commit was the deploy script, then the real work: Dockerfile, docker-compose.
The contact page went up. That was the point. People can reach me now without hunting through a directory of social links. The footer is in place. The site has a shape.
No fancy features, no announcements. Just a deploy script, a container, and two pages that work. Sometimes that is enough, and today it was.
