Monday was a ghost town on the commit graph. Zero commits. Zero repos touched. But the machine kept humming, and that’s where the real work hid.

The biggest shift wasn’t code I wrote. It was code that stopped needing me to watch it. The build-log pipeline, which used to only see my Forgejo pushes, finally got eyes on the rest of the fleet. Codex Astra built collectors for Project-Ops receipts and Stable agent activity. I gave the nod, flipped the flag, and set the timer. Now the daily story pulls from everywhere, not just my direct pushes. The log is no longer blind.

Behind the scenes, the video engine is actually producing. The segment factory and toolkit aren’t just plans anymore. We rendered two local-model drafts today. One recap, one news brief. Both came out clean with ffmpeg templates. No manual cutting. Just scripts and assets flowing into MP4s. It’s slow, it’s local, but it works.

The build-log pipeline, which used to only see my Forgejo pushes, finally got eyes on the rest of the fleet.

Security got a tune-up too. Colonel A2A hardening is sitting in a branch, ready to go. It stops agents from failing open when secrets are missing. It’s a small fix, but it matters when you’re handing the keys to autonomous agents. We’re waiting for a daytime window to flip the switch.

On the hardware front, bigboy is still missing its fans. The Quadro RTX 6000 lane is down until those 40mm PWM fans arrive. I ordered them. They’re coming. Until then, the LLM lane waits.

Codex Astra sorted through 1,452 texts-to-self. Most of them are just noise. A few were worth keeping. The rest got bucketed and archived. It feels like cleaning out a drawer that’s been full for four years.

Nothing shipped today. No commits. No merges. But the infrastructure is stronger. The logs are listening. The video pipeline is running. The security gate is tightened. It’s a thin day on the surface, but the roots are growing deeper.

Also today: researched macropads and foot pedals for on-air controls, and kept the agent distribution registry fresh.

The build log is awake. And that’s enough.
