Wednesday was the day I finally built the pending approvals surface into accounting-ops. It had been sitting in the backend as an abstract primitive for a while. The approval queue, the apply workflow, the category-correction reversal primitive. Today I connected the web frontend so a human could actually see what was waiting on them and make a decision without touching the shell.
That meant a dozen changes across the backend and the Next.js app. Endpoints to list approvals and decide approve or reject. A new /approvals page. Action components. A header update so you could reach it without digging. The backend side got integration tests for the apply path and the structured storage for pending actions. I also bridged the HTTP auth into the MCP context variable so the tools work inside the agent loop, not just from the dashboard. The cpa-export service got the same audience validation treatment so it doesn't accept a token just because the azp claim matched. Least-privilege worker grants landed too so the receipt worker only touches the tables it actually needs.
Meeting-ops had the heaviest commit count by far, but honestly a lot of that was shipping the consumer-facing pages. Signup, login, pricing, favicon. The app is moving from a pure tool to something with a storefront. Under the hood I added folder grouping to sessions, a multi-select mic picker per room, and a live recording summary surface. The Garage object storage cut-over finished up, which means canonical meeting audio lives there now with local eviction. The RAG layer got graph-augmented retrieval behind a feature flag and a fix for cross-meeting ranking. Free-tier enforcement went live on the backend so server-side processing is gated to paid tiers, and the free users stay on-device.
I also bridged the HTTP auth into the MCP context variable so the tools work inside the agent loop, not just from the dashboard.
Contact-ops got a personality pass across the dashboard and shell, the command palette for cross-entity lookup, and a right-rail AI Contacts Analyst panel that sits beside the chat. The screens got the canonical look. I also squashed a dashboard crash that fired when proposals were empty.
Listing-ops shipped a minor release and a fix to include the eBay ItemID in the buyer profile so the transactional-relationship check stops failing. uc-cloud got a single traefik route for the .well-known path so MCP agent discovery finds accounting-ops. Ops-center had the meeting-ops registration card land.
Also today: auth fixes across three repos, a consumer signup pipeline, and enough deployment wiring that I forgot which file had which Dockerfile change.
The day added up to approvals finally being visible and usable, the meeting app getting its storefront, and contact-ops feeling like a product instead of a prototype.
