Majiks DJ — library.

Sunday brought a shift in momentum. The focus moved from pure infrastructure to the actual commerce layer that lets creators get paid, while simultaneously launching a brand-new project for artwork and tightening up the identity across the platform.

The biggest win was getting the cart system live on majiks.online. I spent the morning building out the full checkout flow, which involved 1642/-131, 11 files. This wasn't just a UI tweak; it was a complete infrastructure play. I wired up the cart drawer, the API routes for adding items, and the crucial Stripe checkout integration. The platform now controls the payment flow directly, which simplifies the revenue split logic significantly. I also updated the legal docs, pricing page, and help section to reflect this new commerce reality. It’s a heavy lift, but it’s solid. To make the experience smoother for visitors who haven’t logged in yet, I added a pre-loader for the featured track. It’s a small detail, but it keeps the player ready before the user even clicks.

While the commerce layer was taking shape, I also pushed through a significant rebranding effort. The studio product is now officially "Majik's Music Studio." This wasn't just a name change in one file; it touched 23 files across majiks.studio, updating every display string, meta tag, and image template. I also updated the version to v1.5.5. This means the platform can now self-report its status without manual intervention. To support this, I expanded valid tiers and added subscription_tier to org context.

I spent the morning building out the full checkout flow, which involved 1642/-131, 11 files.

Authentication got a boost too. I integrated Keycloak SSO for the publisher checkout flow. This adds a layer of security and consistency for users logging into the creator dashboard. I also spent time in ops-center designing the Keycloak login theme. I created branded templates for the UC-1 Pro login pages, adding 887 lines of new UI code to ensure the login experience matches the product’s new identity. I documented the multi-deployment theming strategy so this doesn’t become a maintenance nightmare later.

On the creative side, I initialized majiks-art-studio. It’s a fresh repo with 10702/-0, 101 files. The app includes a chat system, gallery models, and a backend view model. It’s still early days, but the foundation is there. To support this, I fixed the artwork serving endpoint on majiks.online to use the correct /api/images/ path and added a unique index on studio_track_id to prevent duplicate uploads. I also enriched catalogue endpoint, giving creators more control over how their work is presented.

Also today: updated the unclaimed earnings banner, tweaked the admin sidebar, and polished the footer links.

The day added up to a platform that can now sell, log in securely, and display art properly, all under a consistent new brand.
