Thursday, March 12. Three commits across two repos. Not a lot of commits, but they were the ones that needed to land.
I spun up Majik's Online as a proper v1.0.0. That meant actually wiring up the branding instead of leaving it as scaffolding. Seven files changed, net deletion of 37 lines because a lot of placeholder stuff doesn't survive contact with reality. The Docker compose file got updated, the layout and page components got real content, and the logo component actually renders the brand mark now instead of whatever fallback I'd thrown in during the rush. The app icons made it into public/images too, so the meta tags and touch icons aren't pointing at nothing anymore.
On the studio side I moved download URLs over to dl.majiks.studio so everything routes through Cloudflare CDN. That's just operational hygiene, two lines changed in the version route and the download page, but it means the assets aren't cold-starting from origin every time someone clicks a download link. The version.json endpoint got bumped to 1.4.2 as well, along with the download page content and the home page text. The diff was 133 additions against 205 deletions, which is just the usual pattern when you're pruning old copy and replacing it with things that actually say what the product is.
On the studio side I moved download URLs over to dl.
Also today: the domain split stopped feeling like a hack and started feeling like two separate products that happen to share a codebase.
None of this is groundbreaking. It's the work of making things real: branding in place, assets served from CDN, version numbers that match what people are actually running. The kind of commits that don't make anyone's demo reel but matter when someone tries to use the product.
The day added up to two domains that actually ship.
