Most of the day was spent filling in the blanks on the portfolio. The site was looking a little too clean, a little too generic. I spent the bulk of the hours uploading real photos for the bathroom, exterior, and interior projects. It is better to have a hundred images of a real job than one stock photo that looks like it belongs in a catalog from 2015.
I added the Downtown Charleston bathroom series. That covers three distinct projects. Project A is the hexagon tile job from July 2021. Project B is the marble work from September and October 2021. Project C is the luxury marble install from March 2022. I also uploaded the Johns Island bathroom photos, which include the before, during, and after shots. That is 11 images total. The exterior section got a boost too. I added 30 photos for the carport conversion, garage door, siding, roofing, and porch work. The interior section got 20 more images for the custom window seat and the structural addition. Concrete repair got 10 photos. That is a lot of visual proof.
I also updated the team section. Kyle sent over edited headshots in both PNG and JPG formats. I replaced the old ones. I added a casual social media version and a professional hero shot for the about page. The team page finally looks like it is run by actual people.

The code side was lighter. I created the projects page and replaced the stock placeholders with the real portfolio content. That was a big shift in the index and projects pages. I also added project writeups to the portfolio summary. The navbar got a tweak to make the portfolio items link directly to the specific projects instead of just landing on the main portfolio page.
The calendar module needed some attention. The timezone handling was messy. I fixed the timezone display in the TimeSlotPicker component. The datetime format was not quite right, so I cleaned that up. The slot generation logic also needed a fix to respect the correct timezone. It was a small set of changes in the calendar library, but it matters. If the times are wrong, the booking is wrong.
I also added the Lavora menu logos for both dark and light modes. Two simple image files, but they needed to be in place.
It was a solid day of building. The site feels more complete now. The portfolio has real weight. The calendar is more reliable.
The site finally looks like a place that does real work.
