Ops-Center — user dashboard.

Monday started with the kind of momentum that usually precedes a refactor I’d rather not do. I spent the morning wrestling with ops-center, specifically the new API key management system. It was a big push, touching nearly 190 files, mostly documentation and architecture diagrams, but the code changes were real. I added the comprehensive management layer and spun up the api.unicorncommander.ai subdomain with its own docs. It felt good to have the structure in place.

Then the BYOK system decided to throw a tantrum. The commit log shows a massive deletion of over 125,000 lines, which is terrifying until you realize it was just cleaning up old, broken frontend assets and backend stubs. I fixed the authentication, the database storage, and the test endpoint. It was a surgical strike on technical debt. Once that was done, I added a visual tier management system so we can actually see how the pricing tiers map to app features without digging through config files.

I also had to update the uc-cloud submodule four times today. That is the price of doing business when you are tightly coupled. Each update reflected a new feature in ops-center, from the API keys to the BYOK fix and the tier system. It is repetitive, but it ensures the cloud layer stays in sync with the core platform. No surprises there.

I fixed the authentication, the database storage, and the test endpoint.

Shawns.services got some attention, too. I added a comprehensive business strategy page for Shawn. It included pricing research, a calculator, and a final recommendation document. I also updated the existing strategy page to be more practical. It was a nice change of pace to write for a different audience. The research was thorough, covering car detailing and pressure washing pricing models. It gave me a better sense of how to structure value propositions for small businesses.

The real headline, though, was in unicorn-amanuensis. The decoder finally worked. I marked it as a major breakthrough and completed Week 2. The commit added over 182,000 lines of code, mostly documentation and integration reports, but the underlying logic is now solid. The NPU integration is complete, and the batch processor is running. It is a huge win for the project. I finally have a working decoder that can handle the complex data streams we are throwing at it.

Also today: I updated the ops-center README with BYOK and credit system details. It is important to keep the docs in sync with the code.

This was a productive day. I cleaned up technical debt, shipped new features, and finally got the decoder to work. The momentum is building, and I am feeling good about the direction we are heading. The platform is becoming more robust, and the AI components are finally coming together. It is a good day to be building.
