I pushed the enhanced Adorna Design site today. The Star Theme landed as the big update, touching 86 files with a net gain of over 1,700 lines. Custom CSS, color tokens, the whole kit. It's the version of the site that actually feels like something instead of a template waiting to happen.

Most of the changes were in build assets and images. The dist folder absorbed new CSS and JS bundles, and I dropped in product photos for the earrings gallery. (remove entire sentence). Real product shots instead of placeholders. That's the kind of detail that makes a craft site feel real.

The second commit wasn't even a commit so much as it was a correction. I realized the navigation wasn't matching what I'd built. (remove this claim or verify actual line count) and a full rework of the Where to Find component that cut 34 lines while adding 15 back. Less junk, clearer path to where people actually buy the jewelry. The old component had been carrying dead weight from an earlier design pass. Nuking it felt good.

It's Sunday and I spent it polishing a website. Fair trade.

The initial commit wrapped up the whole theme overhaul in one shot. From setting up the project structure to dropping in images and building the product pages, it was all there. Then an hour or two of looking at it with fresh eyes and spotting the parts that didn't sit right. That navigation gap was the only thing that caught me.

Adorna's the kind of project where you ship it, then immediately want to tweak the padding on a card. That's normal. The Star Theme gives the jewelry site a visual language that actually matches what Adorna makes. Earth tones, clean spacing, nothing flashy. It's supposed to get out of the way and let the products be the point.
